Why Good Customer Service Skills Are Essential | NYC Job Search
Why Good Customer Service Skills Are Essential
Good customer service skills are the most essential part of any business.? If your business deals with clients and customers, then seeking to improve customer service is one of the smartest things you can do.? If you have built your business to bring in customers, you need to know how to effectively treat them and communicate with them.? A happy customer will give you the best free advertising around, word of mouth, their personal testimony, and recommendation.? It is a snowball effect, if one is happy, they will bring in more, who will be happy and they will bring in more.? You can see how it can affect the very life and growth of your business.? However, fail with customer service and you may as well close up shop now.
Why Good Customer Services Brings More Customers
Excellent customer service entices customers to want to come back and continue doing business with you.? If they are happy, they will return.? If they are happy, they will return with their family and friends.? Repeat customers are a big part of the whole customer base.? Giving customers a way to reach you helps to keep them happy.? If you use call centre outsourcing, be sure to educate the operators about your company and encourage them to represent your business in a positive and friendly manner.? Call centre services are a great way to keep communications open between you and your customers around the clock.
Good customer service skills are required to keep customers coming back for more of your business.? People tend to come back to continue doing business with those who take good care of them during and after the sale.? Good customer service is a way to build good lasting relationships.? You can improve customer service by abiding by these suggestions:
First Rule for Contact Centre Metrics:? Always Be Available
The telephone is still one of the best ways for customers to communicate with you.? If your business is growing, you should be available at all times and more than just an answering machine.? Why do your customers call?? Are they placing orders?? Are they inquiring about your services or products?? It is important to be able to communicate with your customers, to satisfy their need for contact by being available for calls 24/7.? Does this mean you have to answer each call personally?? No, you can hire call centre companies to answer the phones when you are away.
How will you know if the company provides good services for you?? A quality company will keep good call centre statistics, so you can see the amount of calls that come in for information and other reasons.? You can determine from these call centre reports if you feel if you should continue this service with your business.? Call centre performance is as important as good customer service skills.?
Good Customer Service Skills Keeps you Honest
You want to keep customers happy; you need to be honest with them at all times.? While it may be tempting to close a deal by telling a white lie, do not do this.? If you cannot complete a service nor have a product to them by a certain time, be honest about it.? If your product will not do everything they need, be honest.? Moreover, offer suggestions to help them even if it means you will not make as much of a profit.? They will appreciate your honesty and will return.? Companies that tell little white lies to save their face will end up with it coming right back to them someday in the loss of actual customers.?
Improve Customer Service by Hearing Your Customers
The best barometer for your business is your customers and their reaction to your products or services.? If they are not satisfied, they will let you know.? How you receive information from your customers will determine whether they will stick with you or not.? Some people become defensive and angry if an unhappy customer approaches them.? Instead, you should do all in your power to help them, by first listening to their grievances and suggestions.? Thank them, and repeat the issue to let them know you heard them.? Then you can strive to offer ways to make it up to them.

Work On Your Self With More Natural Methods | What To Blog About ?
There are many different ways you can work on achieving the goals that you have in your life for self help issues. I?m here today to talk to you about some of the more nontraditional ways that you can work with some complementary and alternative therapies, and even natural healing methods for this.
Many people do not even know that you can work with this type of natural healing work in your life to help enhance and achieve all of those self help issues that you?re focusing on. That is part of my own pathway to help enlighten others on theirs.
When you?re working with some of these different types of methods, you have to understand a few simple steps that do go into them so that you can have the most success with this type of work.
Self help issues can be achieved through some simple steps such as affirmations, and goal setting, types of work. Many people actually have started with this type of work years ago, but they have not taken it to the next level yet.
The first thing that you really have to understand when you?re working with affirmation work is that you have to have a very specific goal in mind for your self help issues. This is probably one thing that many people lack when they get started.
Let me explain this a little bit further for you. When you?re working on your self help issues, if you?re very general about this specific affirmation or goal statement, the universe is only going to bring you something that is very general and return. If you?re very specific, the universe is going to bring you something that is very specific.
It is extremely important to make sure with your goal setting that everything is in a positive tense for this type of work for your self help issues. If used you?re saying things and repeating them in a negative mindset, this is what is going to be drawn back in return from the universe. The universe does not understand the difference between positive and negative, it only understand what you focus on and put out to this, so that it can be then returned back to you.
Another big mistake many people work on for their affirmations with this type of work for their self help issues is that they forget to put their affirmation in the present tense. We are only living in each specific current moment that we have. We cannot live in the future, nor can we live in the past, see you have to make sure that your goal statement are focused on the present moment.
You can also work with many different types of complementary and alternative therapies for your self help issues such as Reiki energy healing for this. When you?re working with your affirmations, you want to make sure to use a bout of repetition with this and feel everything that goes into this goal statement of yours. You also want to make sure that you can send your own Reiki energy healing for this to help amplify all the energy that is being sent out to the universe, so that you can have this return to you much more quickly.
You can also work with meditation techniques for this type of work in your life for your self help issues. You can incorporate your goal setting, or affirmations, inching meditation time. You have to remember it is not about how long meditate, but rather that it is a focused energy during this specific time.
Probably one of the biggest things that most people get hung up on when there dealing with their self help issues is that they see what works for one person and believe that it has to work for them as well. It is about finding something that?s going to work for you, your life, and enhance your life for all of these issues in a positive manner. No two people are like, see have to find something that resonates within you.
Balance is another key stepping stone for this type of work in your life. You want to make sure that things are balance out through all of the physical levels, emotional stability, mental issues, and your spiritual connections from within at your soul level.
You do have to remember that these are all just the tip of the iceberg when you?re working with these different techniques so that you can work on all the self help issues that you?re facing in your life. It?s about achieving his goals, be successful, and being happy all at the same time for.
My last little tip of advice I would like to share with you are some other little very short phrases that you can say on a day-to-day basis to help you stay in a positive mindset. You can work with things such as I can do this, I have this, or I earned this!
Honestly it?s all up to you now. We all have to be responsible for all of the decisions that we make in our life, so make the positive ones so that you can achieve all of the success that you so desire with the self help issues that you?re dealing with.

Modern Music Lessons, Not Your Parents Lessons ? The Queen of ...
By Adrianna Noton
One of the most popular recreational activities to take up for people of all ages is music. It?s fun, it?s engaging, and after putting in the work there?s hardly anything as rewarding as sharing the gift of music with friends and family. Even if you?re introverted and you play only for your own ears, music is its own reward. But at least in the past generation music lessons have changed in some considerable ways, and they aren?t quite what they used to be.
Old-fashioned music lessons evoke the image of an unwilling pupil forced to play complicated classical music by rote. While you can still find traditional teachers, and for some students who fit this mould it?s perfectly appropriate, many teachers cater towards a different kind of student. Most students now are looking to play popular music they already know, and they?re satisfied playing songs as opposed to learning heaps of music theory they won?t really apply. The best thing is to meet somewhere in the middle: while you don?t want to ram anything down the throat of an unwilling student, there?s something to be said for understanding rudimentary elements of music. This can be done in engaging ways, and not all at once.
A good teacher balances the needs and wants of the student so that they don?t ever feel like they?re struggling through a boring element of music that doesn?t appeal to them. This requires a rapport based on trust, and even humour, and it takes time to develop. While instilling the desire to learn about music is key, the most essential thing is to engage the student in the music itself and make sure they?re playing. This is the prime directive, so the extent you can push for more traditional demands depends on their determination and their inclination, but all good music teachers have a good sense of how to do this. This is the art of teaching music.
The first responsibility is to transfer the love of music. When the student wants to play, they?ll overcome whatever obstacles there are. It?s essential to foster their desire to improve. This means that the beginning of music lessons is characterized by a series of small accomplishments that are within reach of the novice, but not so small that they don?t feel significant when they?re reached. Favourite songs can be learned, but easier versions which still carry the essential flavour of the song. All the while the teacher inspects the hands to ensure all fingering is correct, and explains along why certain techniques are useful.
But perhaps the best thing about music lessons is the relationship you form with a figure that becomes a friend, a mentor, and hopefully a source of inspiration. You want to emulate their ability and you?re grateful to be on friendly, approachable terms with someone whose skills you admire. The end result is you look forward to a certain time each week where you get excited to make some music.
Searching online for local musical teachers? Then make sure to visit Long & McQuade ? one of Canada?s largest music stores offering a wide selection of piano lessons Vancouver and piano lessons Victoria see if there are lessons in your area today!

Duracell Powermat WiCC could bring wireless charging to any smartphone, we go hands-on (video)
Powermat President Daniel Schreiber sees this as a major breakthrough for the smartphone industry, saying "we're going to do for wireless power what the memory card did for storage in mobile phones." We had a chance to take a look at a mock-up of the wireless card at MWC, which was resting just above the battery in a Samsung Galaxy S II. Because the phone's battery is slightly recessed, both the card and battery fit below the device's original backplate -- the WiCC lies flush with the phone's camera lens. Overall, we think there's some serious potential here, assuming device manufacturers are game to come on board. Still, don't expect to see these hitting stores anytime this year -- the company expects its other products to come to market long before the Wireless Charging Card. So for now, jump past the break to take a closer look, but don't make any plans to toss that power adapter just yet.

Good Communications = Satisfied Clients | SlawTips
As Richard Ferguson, a lawyer friend of ours says on his email message:
?People may forget what you said?.
People may forget what you did?.
but people will never forget how you made them feel.?
Despite the fact that we lawyers make our living communicating, many of us don?t take steps to optimize client communications. This is a shame, because highly effective client communications leads to both great case outcomes that satisfy the client?s legal goals and a great lawyer-client relationship that can result in higher work satisfaction and repeat business and referrals. Accordingly, here are our suggested steps to improve client communications:
Find out the client?s preferred means of communication, and use it whenever possible. If you have teenaged kids, you?ve probably learned by now that a short text message will elicit a response much more quickly than an attempt to call or leave a voicemail message. Clients also have preferred means of communication and when you take the time to determine that method and then make it as easy as possible for the client to initiate communication or respond to your request for information, you make your client happy and make it easier to do your job.
Give your clients a structure within which to communicate. Everyone likes to know what to expect, and your clients are no different when it comes to communicating with you. While it?s great to use the client?s preferred means of communicating, you can?t always respond as quickly as the client would like. Prepare a written communications plan that lets your clients know how soon to expect to receive a response from various types of communications and who to contact if you are unable to respond within the stated time due to a trial or other cause.
Have someone in your office return all calls the day they were received.? Study after study has shown that not returning phone calls promptly is a major factor in client dissatisfaction. ?Accordingly, make it a policy in your office that someone?will return all calls they day they were received ? even if it is to say that you are in court and won?t be able to get back to them that day. ?This demonstrates concern for the client ? they understand that you are busy ? we all are!! ? but the act of simply acknowledging their call is an important one. ?Make your clients feel good about having selected you as their lawyer.

PS Vita hits UK - Computers|Gadgets|Games N Entertaint|Hardware ...
Sony?s PS Vita?has hit the mean streets of the united kingdom, stores around the country opening at the hours of darkness to present eager gamers their chance to seize the subsequent-gen portable, with US sales expected to start within hours. Although early queues for the Vita?had only garnered low numbers earlier this week, by midnight there have been several hundred waiting outside retailer Game?s flagship London store, The Telegraph?reports.
The store itself have been reskinned to mark the Sony console?s launch, with huge PS Vita branding across its windows. First within the queue was Zohaib Ali, who have been waiting since Sunday to pick out up his Vita.
Early enthusiasm is probably going to reassure Sony, in addition to pre-order sales for the console which were happening within the UK and US for some weeks now. Initial deliveries of the PS Vita First bundle began within the US late last week; you will find our hands-on with the 3G variant here.
Still, after the diehard gamers get their fix, it is still seen whether the Vita could be a mass-market success. Sony saw strong initial demand in Japan, where the console launched late last year, but sales slumped afterwards?with a poor choice of titles being some of the reasons blamed.
PS Vita 3G hands-on and unboxing:
If you continue to must arise to PS Vita speed, inspect our full US/Europe launch week rundown?along with our review of Sony?s Vita OS. The platform is tipped to show up on Sony smartphones next, together with other devices, so that you could well be observing the following big step within the company?s try to challenge Apple.

Global permafrost zones in high-resolution images on Google Earth

Thawing permafrost will have far-reaching ramifications for populated areas, infrastructure and ecosystems. A geographer from the University of Zurich reveals where it is important to confront the issue based on new permafrost maps -- the most precise global maps around. They depict the global distribution of permafrost in high-resolution images and are available on Google Earth.
Unstable cable-car and electricity pylons and rock fall Alpine countries like Switzerland have already had first-hand experience of thawing permafrost as a result of climate change. If temperatures continue to rise, the problem will intensify in many places. Permafrost, namely rock or soil with a negative temperature for at least two years, occurs in the subsurface and therefore cannot be mapped directly. The existing maps are thus fraught with major uncertainties that have barely been studied or formulated. Furthermore, due to the different modeling methods used the maps are difficult to compare.
The most precise global permafrost maps
Now, however, glaciologist Stephan Gruber from the University of Zurich has modeled the global permafrost zones for the first time in high resolution and using a consistent method. In his study recently published in The Cryosphere, the scientist estimates the global permafrost regions at 22 million square kilometers a sixth of the world's exposed land surface. With a grid resolution of one square kilometer, Gruber's maps are the most precise permafrost maps in the world..
Approximation of permafrost patchwork
A large proportion of the permafrost zones lie outside the areas that exhibit continuous permafrost in the subsurface. At relatively small distance, permafrost can here occur right next to non-permafrost ground. In other words, the spatial distribution of permafrost resembles a patchwork quilt, which makes it extremely difficult to identify zones with permafrost in such areas. This is where Gruber's innovative permafrost maps come in: They are based on high-resolution air temperature and elevation data. Moreover, they reveal an index that indicates the probability of permafrost. The permafrost areas are depicted in grades from dark blue for near-continuous permafrost to yellow for areas with little permafrost. In contrast to previous permafrost maps, which show clearly defined zones, Gruber's maps also illustrate the uncertainty of the state of research.
The scientist explains his motivation with the urgency of the matter: "As a result of climate change, areas with permafrost have great potential for unpleasant surprises. That is why it is all the more important for politics and the public to be aware of the problem of thawing permafrost. My maps visualize the otherwise barely visible phenomenon of permafrost."

I Have No Intention of Saying Good-bye...surviving grief: death of a ...
It could be something at your child?s school. Perhaps you always wanted to be a teacher, but you were too busy raising a family. Now you have the time. You may want to volunteer to help as an assistant in one of the classes. Schools can always use volunteers.
You may want to seek out a cause. For example, if your child was killed by a drunk driver, you may want to contact MADD or SADD and ask to be a speaker at one of their meetings or conferences.
You may feel like going to a football game, a basketball game or a movie. At a sporting event, you?ll be able to get rid of some bottled up emotions when you scream and shout for the team you are routing for. At the theater, see a funny movie so you can laugh. Laughing out loud is good for you and can calm you down.
If you are the type who likes to shop, go buy yourself a new dress or blouse. If you can think pleasant thoughts about looking pretty, you can improve your mood.
Perhaps you are religious and attending a church service or meditating are good activities and will force you to think of positive thoughts.
Spend time walking or running outside. The fresh air, the sounds of birds and other animals, the beautiful scenery and the good weather could lift your spirits and relieve tension.
Try engaging yourself in more family activities. If you have other children, they will not only be worried about you, but also feel left out. Remember, they too have suffered a loss, and it is hard for them also. By including them in your thoughts and activities, your family can remain close.
By doing any of these activities, you will meet new people and perhaps find in them a great support system to help you move on with your life. You can also contact many organizations that deal with child loss. My new book lists them all for you to peruse.
Whatever you decide to do, don?t do it because you are trying to get over your loss; do it because you are just trying to get through the loss. Everyone who has lost a child knows it is easy to suggest these ideas but it is another thing to do them and be able to help yourself on your road to recovery.

96% The Muppets
Are you a Man or are you a Muppet or a Muppet like man or a Manly Muppet? The answer to this will effect your enjoyment of the film. I grew up on the Muppets and they represent something quite sacred to me - I'm not alone. This one is for the fans. For far too long I've seen my childhood favourites 'return' or become 're-imagined' for a new audience but this one was going to be the one that really counted. The relief that I felt after seeing this in the cinema, mixed with the nostalgic feelings it invoked almost made me want to cry like a baby. The great songs are back too, thanks to the genius idea of hiring Bret McKenzie from The Flight of the Conchords fame. OK, let's put things into perspective though. Jim Henson died over 20 years ago and Frank Oz retired from Muppet duties over 10 years ago. The Muppets could have died 20 years ago or faded out 10 years ago but they didn't, Henson's legacy lived on - not always successfully it has to be said but you're never going to beat the first 3 films - that's a fact we're all just going to have to get over but you know what, Steve Whitmire has been doing a great job since 1990, he was trained by Henson and has kept the dream alive, along with the other great performers, notably Eric Jacobson and Dave Goelz who has been there since the beginning. The spirit of Jim Henson is very much alive but not just with the Muppet performers, but with the fans like Jason Segel who left any ego he may have had to one side, stepped up for the fans and made a film for us. The Muppets are back, they didn't really leave but they are back on form, Rolf the Dog and the electric Mayhem are back though after a bit of an absence in the last few films, Pepe is there but takes a modest side step - shame Rizzo was absent but apart from that, this Muppet fan couldn't be happier. That's not entirely true, I'd be happier if The Muppets weren't Disney owned - sell your plastic lunch boxes and pencil cases but make more films, use your investment and lets bring back the Muppet show, release Muppets tonight on DVD and get the kids into this - thus making the world a better place, and yes, I truly believe the Muppets make the world a better place. Damn it, I'm welling up again....

Mises on Nazi Economics Debunked | - Maoist Rebel News
I read an absolutely atrocious blog post from the Mises institute that was sent to me by a subscriber. The post by George Reisman declared at the beginning the intention to show ?why Nazi Germany was a socialist state, not a capitalist one?. The premise is simply ridiculous and obviously an attempt to erase the blatant capitalist nature of capitalism from the Nazi government. Its also a very transparent attempt to paint a untruthful picture of socialism with the purpose of scaring people away from it. The fascist McCarthy would be proud of their propaganda effort. Mises and the Mises followers must have missed that part about Hitler killing because he thought communism and socialism was a Jewish conspiracy. They tend not to be too historically accurate.
Interestingly it begins with the simple line ?For what should one expect the economic system of a country ruled by a party with ?socialist? in its name to be but socialism?? Anything can be called anything, its the content that matters. This is the same group of people that think the government holding businesses accountable for mislabelling their products is fascism by the state. Saipan is close enough to be able to say ?Made in America? right? Labels on products say PRC, instead of People?s Republic of China aren?t being misleading at all are they, they?re not trying to obscure the fact their made in China right? Not to mention the manufacturing town in China called USA. Which of course is never mistaken for U.S.A..
So maybe we can see why they would take such a superficial trait as proof. Besides, America is capitalist country, its leaders remind us of that every day. So why do they think America is really socialist? ?For what should one expect the economic system of a country ruled by a parties that praise capitalism, to be but capitalism?? America is also called the leader of the free world, and the best country in the world. Why doesn?t the Mises institute agree? Why do they deny the simple fact that America is called the freest and best country in the world? Why do they hate their country so much? Clearly its called capitalism, so it must be. Why does the Mises institute need to lie?
The really obviousness of the fake socialism in the name came from the persecution of all Leftists in the country. Anyone who has even a beginners knowledge of Nazi Germany knows Hitler had the entire Communist party massacred. Communists from other countries and at home were sent to the Concentration Camps to die. People in trade unions were sent to Concentration camps to die. Hitler had the Reichstag burned down and blamed on communist ?terrorism?. Why would he have persecuted ?his own kind? if they were socialists like him? How much more obvious can you get? Sending Communists and Labour organizers to be killed. You don?t kill off an entire party and those around it who are the same as you. Its really obvious these people were killed for being socialists. Well, its not as obvious as their name.
In continuing to try and ?prove? Nazi Germany was socialist, they quote Mises himself saying private property didn?t exist. ??private ownership of the means of production existed in name only under the Nazis and that the actual substance of ownership of the means of production resided in the German government. For it was the German government and not the nominal private owners that exercised all of the substantive powers of ownership??
What they?re saying in this part is that despite the fact businesses were owned by individuals, profits pocketed by individuals, run with market, it wasn?t capitalist because the state planned the economy. They continue fraudulently saying that the state decided how much the business owners could receive in profits. In actuality the various large enterprises were run by very wealthy Nazi party supporters. They entered into deals with Hitler to be the exclusive supplier of a particular product and decided upon a rate of tax which they would pay to the government and keep private profits. The tactic here is clear, just deny to pocketing of private wealth and deny how it came about. This is what they call crony capitalism, or as the rest of the world calls it, capitalism. Essentially, ?that?s not real capitalism.?
In a dishonest statement Mises goes on to say that since this isn?t real capitalism, just cronyism, it ?was logically implied by such fundamental collectivist principles?. In other words, even though one person actually owned it and took profits and worked it in a way no one competed with him, it must be socialism. One person owning the enterprise is collectivism. We see them trying the same thing today. In our time corporations and the 1% (so to speak) use connections with paid off government officials to achieve similar conditions and they scream ?that?s not real capitalism?. Because the profit motive, the desire to make as much money as possible would never incentivize someone to block competition and hoard a market and wealth for themselves. Tremendously dishonest.
?But what specifically established de facto socialism in Nazi Germany was the introduction of price and wage controls in 1936. These were imposed in response to the inflation of the money supply carried out by the regime from the time of its coming to power in early 1933.?
Okay, now here he?s decided it is de facto socialism. He?s saying well its not socialism but close enough, like taking the name of Party at face value. Price and wage controls exist relatively in the society we have today, in fact wage controls are what they refer to the minimum wage as. So what they consider to be wage controls really doesn?t mean much at all since all regulation to them is ?control?.
In any case price and wage controls at this time was absolutely necessary, Germany in the beginning was in a desperate situation, World War One ended in great disaster for it, both socially and economically. This was the actual cause of the inflation was WW1. In 1923 the largest denomination was a 100 trillion Mark. In December 1923 the exchange rate was 4.2 trillion Marks to 1 US dollar. This was hyper inflation actually, this was not the Nazis doing, this was the doing of German capitalism going to war. So when they say price controls were carried out because of inflation ?carried out by the regime from the time of its coming to power in early 1933? is outright lying. They are outright taking a problem caused by capitalism and trying to dump it on socialism.
Essentially, if Nazi Germany had been socialist, then they just stated that socialism cured the problem caused by capitalism. Its a smart thing to do, if you have hyper inflation you need strict economic controls to fix the problem. The Nazis were just using the same common sense that anyone would have used. Except Mises of course, he would have advocated just letting the hidden hand magically fix everything.
?The effect of the combination of inflation and price and wage controls is shortages, that is, a situation in which the quantities of goods people attempt to buy exceed the quantities available for sale.
Shortages, in turn, result in economic chaos. It?s not only that consumers who show up in stores early in the day are in a position to buy up all the stocks of goods and leave customers who arrive later, with nothing ? a situation to which governments typically respond by imposing rationing. Shortages result in chaos throughout the economic system.?
Here the author is blaming inflation and price and wage controls as a source of shortages. Well, yes that does cause shortages. Inflation does indeed along with these other factors cause shortage. The inflation caused by capitalist economics led to the necessity of measures to bring inflation under control. I know why he?s saying this, he?s using the fact shortages happened and the false notion of Nazi Germany being socialist to blame socialism for shortages. The shortage caused by capitalist led inflation. These policies of controls to fix the inflation problem are like complaining about having to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous mass from your body. This is simply trying to juxtapose shortages with socialism, while ignoring the causing factor have come from capitalism.
?The combination of price controls with this further set of controls constitutes the de facto socialization of the economic system. For it means that the government then exercises all of the substantive powers of ownership.?
Now Mises has returned to the argument of de facto socialism again. Capitalism caused a monumental problem in the hyperinflation with government intervention being the only solution to the problem. A market, despite the opinion of any fundamentalists, cannot regulate itself. Basically government intervention was the only way to save capitalism from its unregulated self, so therefore since it is regulation put out by the state, its ?de facto? socialism. Once again this means very little considering he and his followers think all regulation is socialism. Nazi Germany could say ?this lake too polluted to swim in without being infected? and they would think its socialism.
The abstractions of socialism do not stop there.
?This was the socialism instituted by the Nazis. And Mises calls it socialism on the German or Nazi pattern, in contrast to the more obvious socialism of the Soviets, which he calls socialism on the Russian or Bolshevik pattern.?
Okay, so de facto socialism is basically covert sneaky socialism. Interesting how everything is socialism if you simply change the definition of socialism to include anything you don?t like. Its similar to watching a Catholic berate a Protestant telling them they?re not a real Christian because they don?t follow the Pope.
?Of course, socialism does not end the chaos caused by the destruction of the price system. It perpetuates it. And if it is introduced without the prior existence of price controls, its effect is to inaugurate that very chaos.?
The problem here is that the so-called socialism actually did bring inflation under control. Which was its intended purpose, it didn?t perpetuate it. So ?not real capitalism? solved the problem caused by real capitalism and then didn?t make it worse as Mises says the ?not real capitalism? it would. The he claims ?its effect is to inaugurate that very chaos?. The purpose of ?not real capitalism? is to cause the problem that capitalism actually did cause.
From here the blog post turns into a socialism bashing session that supposedly ?proves? socialism is totalitarian. But that is for an entirely different video, one I?ve already done more than once. Most of it is just whining about socialism doing the same thing capitalism does in a different context. I?ll give you an example by taking on a few blatantly glaring hypocrisies.
?In sum, therefore, the requirements merely of enforcing price-control regulations is the adoption of essential features of a totalitarian state, namely, the establishment of the category of ?economic crimes,? in which the peaceful pursuit of material self-interest is treated as a criminal offense??
Here George Reisman exposes his complete ignorance of socialist theory. The goal of a socialist society is to decrease class differences. Laws regarding economics is a tool to carry out that transformation which is the purpose of the system, class struggle. (Class antagonism, which Mises followers classically deny exists. Therefore Occupy Wall street doesn?t exist.) This is not any different than copyright law and patents, necessary laws to combat ?economic crimes? in capitalism. Threats of legal action and lawsuits are the threat used against ?peaceful pursuits? of profit making and more generally just an expression of freedom of speech. YouTube videos taken down for containing ?copyrighted? material. Steve Jobs sued an endless number of people all through his career to keep anyone from competing with him. Any product that bore even the slightest resemblance to ?his? was threatened with lawsuits. His actions lead to the bankruptcies of many companies. He didn?t want anyone to compete with him, he would have done the same to Microsoft if he could have gotten away with it. You also have to look no further than the 50 years Kim Dotcom is facing for allegedly participating in copyright infringement.
?The answer is a combination of severe penalties combined with a great likelihood of being caught and then actually suffering those penalties. Mere fines are not likely to provide much of a deterrent. They will be regarded simply as an additional business expense. If the government is serious about its price controls, it is necessary for it to impose penalties comparable to those for a major felony.?
Hypocrisy here is astounding. The recording music industry (RIAA) tried to bankrupt and make homeless the family of Brianna LaHara, a 12 year old girl who downloaded a song illegally [2]. They launched a lawsuit against a child in order to protect private intellectual property. Criminalizing children was their response to a extraordinarily small theft. Kim Dotcom is facing huge fabricated charges for having a file sharing site. Dotcom is accused of racketeering on top of the copyright charges. [3] He?s facing 50 years for supposedly helping people download copyrighted material. He?s actually facing felonies.
I don?t think its even necessary to go into what its like to be accused of having drugs while Black. As much as Mises people try to deny, the War on Drugs is about keeping Marijuana away so that it can?t be held as an alternative to many products. Not only textiles but as pain killer as well. Its entirely the profit motive of larges companies who want to keep it illegal to protect profits that drives the insanely fascist law behind drug possession. Oh they cry about ending laws against illegal drugs, but they deliberately ignore the source of those laws.
?Under a system of de jure socialism, such as existed in Soviet Russia, in which the legal code of the country openly and explicitly makes the government the owner of the means of production, all black-market activity necessarily entails the misappropriation or theft of state property.?
That is not any different than how laws in every other country were set up to protect companies of private property. Its the entire backing behind the the beatings, arrests and killings of union activists today, and much more in the past industrial Revolution. The violence police commit against Occupy Wall street protesters is of the same source. Violence and killings against those who don?t own is even more common in the Third World.
This entire post was intended to take the failures and the crimes of capitalist Nazi Germany and dump them in the lap of socialism. This is primary example of the academic and intellectual dishonesty behind the market fundamentalist movement.
Oh look sources! More than George Reisman gave.

All About Mobile Marketing | Mobile Blog Money Reviews
Today`s post in my blog Mobile Blog Money is a review about All About Mobile Marketing. I am engaged to deliver always high quality informations around Traffic from Mobile Phone Users. These informations should help you or at least bring you a step forward in your decision if Mobile Blog Money is something for you or not. In the case you are only looking for information and don`t have additional need in a system like Mobile Blog Money, we hope that you can enlarge your knowledge with this post. So let`s read what the author has to tell us about:
The power of advertising is known to any individuals or companies engaging in business, and innovative and creative ways to promote the product to existing or new markets are being sought. This is especially so with regards to the developments in new technologies and software advancements, and one of the novel ways that companies are adopting is mobile marketing. This is the advertisement of a firm`s goods through wireless networks, or simply put, over the mobile phone. The advantages of SMS marketing outweigh the flipsides, and as a result more and more firms are adopting this form of advertising.
Mobile marketing involves sending text messages or multimedia messages to potential customers and has risen in popularity among most marketers. Text message marketing is more widespread than multimedia messaging due to the fact that all handsets support SMS while it is likely that some phones lack multimedia services. Mobile marketing basically entails the use of mobile short-codes as domain names allowing potential clients to send a message to the brand wherever they are. Then through some special in-built software, the brand can perform actions such as reply to the consumers. Through a mobile operator, a brand will allow its consumers to decide to receive the messages and to opt out of receiving the messages.
The main advantages of mobile marketing include the fact that it enables a brand to communicate directly with the consumers, sending customized messages that are specifically targeted at the recipient. It is a fruitful investment of advertising capital since the personalization of the message and specificity ensures the target audience and intended message is communicated as opposed to other forms of marketing in which unconcerned audiences are not excluded from the advertisement. The brand can conduct polls, get the views of the customers, send links to their websites and perform a market research through such enhanced communication. Through mobile marketing, the brand is also able to avoid interceptions and vandalism that usually accompanies other forms of advertising and as a result ensure the intended message reaches the target.
The only disadvantage that accompanies use of mobile marketing is the fact that if uncontrolled it is a form of spamming the mobile subscriber with unwanted messages, which may have the counter effect of shooing them away from your product. This has however been overcome through regulation of this form of advertising and the setting up of best practice standards. A good example of this is the provision for the targeted customer to freely decide if to receive the messages, and an option to quit receiving them by sending a message with the word ?stop?.
Although the short codes that are required by a brand to undertake mobile marketing are not very cheap and may appear unbearable to small traders, there are several ways to go about this including through a number of firms agreeing to come together and subscribe to a short code as a unit in order to spread the monthly charges. Besides, the advantages of mobile marketing to your business far outweigh the cost of undertaking it.
